Carole Ann Smith

     As of 31 December 1962,her married name was Trumpower. Carole Ann Smith married Glenn M. Trumpower on 31 December 1962. She died on 23 May 2026 at Hagerstown, Md; Carolyn Ann Smith, 88, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away, Saturday, May 23, 2026, heaven received a gentle, quiet and beautiful soul.

Born Sunday, August 15, 1937, in Hagerstown, MD, she was the daughter of the late Winfield Scott Brown and the late Caroline Josephine (Murray) Brown.

Carolyn graduated from Hagerstown High School in 1955. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church. Carolyn loved to travel, listen to music and spend time baking. Most of all she enjoyed her time with her family.

She is survived by her husband of 72 years Harry Carl Smith, daughters, Carla Smith Hammond and husband Stephen and Kendra Ann Miller, sisters, Kathy Murray and Dixie McNaney, brothers, Winfield Scott Brown II and Bryan Brown, grandchildren, Cortney Lane and husband Dennis, Ashley Schmid and husband Ronnie, great grandchildren, Rori Schmid, Luci Schmid, Maddux Lane, Leah Lane.

She was also preceded in death by her son, Harry Scott Smith.

Services will be held privately with the family

Interment will be at the Rose Hill Cemetery, Hagerstown, MD.
