     Norma J. Carbaugh was born on 16 March 1937. She died on 14 June 2011 at age 74; On June 14, 2011, the Baltimore Orioles lost their biggest fan. Norma Jane (Carbaugh) Ridenour, 74, of Hagerstown, Md., died Tuesday, June 14, 2011, at Johns Hopkins Medical Center in Baltimore, Md.

Born March 16, 1937, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late David W. Carbaugh and Rachel Arlene (Shipley) Carbaugh Voelker, and stepdaughter of the late Jacob T. Voelker.
She was the wife of Richard Z. Ridenour of Hagerstown.

Norma graduated from Hagerstown High School, Class of 1955, where she currently participated on the reunion committee. She was a member and longtime employee of the Benevolent Protective Order of Elks Lodge 378 of Hagerstown, where she tended bar for more than 26 years.

In addition to her husband, Norma is survived by one daughter, Tanya R. Ridenour-ten Hoope and her husband, Henk, of Hagerstown; her faithful kitty companions, Munchie, Furful, Foxy and Woolie Bear; and grandkitties, Mika, Lexi, Reeses Pieces, Lucky, Moonlight and Tweety.

She was preceded in death by her adopted brother, Randy R. Watkins.

The memorial service will be Sunday, June 19, 2011, at 2 p.m. at B.P.O.E. Elks Lodge 378, 11063 Robinwood Drive, Hagerstown. Elder Jack Hill will officiate. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.

The family will receive friends Sunday, June 19, 2011, from 1 to 2 p.m. at the Elks Lodge.
