Patsy E. Reed

     Patsy E. Reed married James Leo Henry. She died on 21 April 2022; Patsy Emagine (Reed) Henry, 84, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away on April 21, 2022. Born November 20, 1937 in Hancock, MD, she was the daughter of Raymond and Dorothy (Walls) Reed.

Patsy was a graduate of Hagerstown High School with the class of 1955. She received her R.N. degree in 1958 from the Washington County School of Nursing in Hagerstown. She worked as an operating room nurse at the Washington County Hospital for 45 years, retiring in 2003. After retiring, she enjoyed traveling, visiting 48 states and many different countries.

She was a member at St. Mark's Lutheran Church of Hagerstown.

She is survived by her son, Greg Henry and wife, Denise, of Hagerstown, MD; one granddaughter, Sarah Henry, two brothers, Kenny Reed and Bill Reed, two sisters, Dixie Ferguson and Judy Miner, and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Leo Henry; three sisters, Dorothy Marie Reed, Thelma Ritchie, Shirley Wyand, one brother, Jesse "Tim" Reed, and nephew Terry Wyand.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 29,2022 at 11:00 AM at the Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home 1331 Eastern Blvd. North, Hagerstown, MD, with Rev. David B. Kaplan officiating.
