     Chalmers A. Walck Jr. was born on 11 July 1937. He married Sue (?) on 3 September 1958. He died on 2 November 2013 at Chambersburg, Penna., at age 76;

Chalmers A. Walck Jr., 76, of Chambersburg, Pa., passed away unexpectedly Saturday, Nov. 2, 2013, at Chambersburg Hospital.

Born July 11, 1937, in Waynesboro, Pa., he was the son of Chalmers A. Sr. and Anna Lucille Hassinger Walck.

A graduate of Hagerstown High School in 1955, he went on to serve in the U.S. Air Force until his retirement in 1975, after 20 years of service. He then went on to work as a sales representative for Blaine Window Hardware in Hagerstown for 10 years.

Mr. Walck was a lifetime member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1599, AMVETS Post 224, Marine Corps League and a member of American Legion Post 46, all in Chambersburg. A history buff, Mr. Walck enjoyed watching World War I and II movies. He also enjoyed watching Fox News, playing Pogo, Miller Lite, and spending time with his wife and family.

Surviving are his loving wife of 55 years, Sue Walck, whom he married Sept. 3, 1958; his daughter, Linda W. Walck of Harrisburg, Pa; and a sister, Beverly M. Rebuck (husband Arthur) of St. Thomas, Pa.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Nancy Walck.

Funeral services will be Friday, Nov. 8, 2013, at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, where the Rev. Paul B. Baker will officiate. The family will receive friends from noon to 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
