     Maude Anna Norcross was born on 28 March 1937. As of 19 October 1958,her married name was Nutter. She married Frank Nutter on 19 October 1958. She died on 11 February 2013 at age 75; Maude A. Nutter (February 12, 2013)

Maude Anna Nutter, 75, of Hagerstown, Md., passed away Monday, Feb. 11, 2013, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Born Sunday, March 28, 1937, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Emmitt Charles Norcross Sr. and the late Isabel B. (Staubs) Norcross.

She was employed with the Washington County Board of Education at the cafeteria at Western Heights Middle School, she was later employed and retired from Good Humor Breyers. She most recently was employed at Funkstown Firehouse Grill. She was a lifelong member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, where she was active with the Food Bank. She enjoyed playing bingo and cards with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, who were very special to her. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed.

She was a graduate of Hagerstown High School class of 1955.

She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Frank Eugene Nutter Sr; two daughters, Julie Mackereth and husband, Kevin, and Stacie Morris and husband, Wayne, both of Hagerstown; son, Frank Nutter Jr. and wife, Stephanie, of Louisville, Ky; grandchildren, Justin Hoover, Jason and Jennifer Morris, and Zachary, Agnes, Eli and Owen Nutter; seven great-grandchildren; brother, Emmitt “Bub” Norcross Jr. and wife, Sandy, of Williamsport, Md; many wonderful nieces and nephews and cousins, several special friends and long time neighbor, Mary Stouffer.

She was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.

Services will be held Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013, at 10:30 a.m. at the Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home, 1331 Eastern Blvd. North, Hagerstown, with the Rev. G. Stanley Steele officiating.

Family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2013, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Interment will be at the Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, Hagerstown.
