     Judith Mae Albrecht lived at Hagerstown, Maryland. She was born on 14 May 1937. She died on 16 December 2014 at age 77; Judith May Albrecht Myerly, 77, of Hagerstown, Md., passed away Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2014, at Ravenwood Assisted Living.
Born May 14, 1937, in Milwaukee, Wis., she was the daughter of the late Walter William and Adele Gryphan Albrecht.
Judith retired from Video Vision after 20 years as a videographer. She was previously employed for 10 years at Maryland BlueCross/BlueShield as a secretary.
Judith was instrumental in establishing the “Park Arts Festival,” served on the steering committee for “Saving Maryland Theatre,” and assisted in bringing the Maryland Symphony to Hagerstown.
She loved to travel worldwide throughout most of her life.
Judith was preceded in death by her husband, J. Philip Myerly.
She is survived by three sisters-in-law, Mary Myerly, Mary Kammerle and Helen Ann Spessard; four nieces; and five nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Judith was preceded in death by two sisters.
There will be no services.
The family will receive friends Friday, Dec. 26, 2014, from 1 to 3 p.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown.
A special thank you to family and friends who helped Judy these past months as her health declined. We would also like to recognize the Washington County hospice staff who helped with her care, especially nurse Rhonda Kendall.
